These Terms of Use explain the basic rules for using YipYap. By using the YipYap app or website, you agree to these Terms.

Age Eligibility

YipYap is for users age 13 and older. Users under 13 may not create or use a YipYap account. We may request birthday information to determine account eligibility and apply age-appropriate content restrictions.

Users age 13–17 may have restricted access to mature-topic content and more limited advertising or monetization features.

Use of YipYap

You may use YipYap to create polls, answer questions, vote, comment, view results, and interact with supported social features. You agree not to misuse the app, manipulate voting, evade safety controls, access another person’s account, or interfere with YipYap’s operation.

User Content

You are responsible for the polls, answer options, comments, profile information, images, reports, and other content you submit. Do not post content that is pornographic, exploitative, threatening, harassing, hateful, graphically violent, illegal, deceptive, spam, or otherwise harmful.

Some allowed discussions may be labeled as mature topics, including discussions involving alcohol, gambling, dating drama, strong language, or serious news. A mature-topic label does not permit pornographic content, exploitation, threats, hate, graphic gore, illegal activity, or other prohibited content.

Moderation and Reports

YipYap may use automated checks and administrator review to detect, restrict, review, or remove content and accounts that may violate these Terms or community safety rules. Users may report polls, comments, profiles, images, and other content.

We may label content, limit its visibility, require edits, remove it, restrict features, or suspend or remove accounts when reasonably needed to protect users or operate the service.

Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate account information and keeping your account secure. Do not provide a false birthday to bypass age restrictions or mature-topic controls.

Account deletion requests may be submitted through the process described on our Support page.

Advertising and Paid Features

YipYap may offer sponsored content, advertising, rewarded features, poll boosts, or other monetization tools. Availability and terms may vary, and age-appropriate restrictions may apply.

App Changes

YipYap may change, add, restrict, or remove features as the app develops. We may also update these Terms, with changes posted on this page.

Disclaimer

YipYap is provided as-is. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.
